"For the rest of our lives when someone
thinks of one of us...they'll think of all of us!"
The Nu Lambda chapter of Chi Omega was founded on March 17, 1990, at UNCW. For over 19 years we have been involved in the community and philanthropy projects, all while becoming one of the largest sororities on campus. We have been working with our national philanthropy, Make-A-Wish, and this year we will be hosting our Fourth Annual Golf Tournament on OCTOBER 17! Where we hope to grant yet another child's wish!
This year at Greek Awards Chi Omega was rewarded for her many efforts throughout the year with: Chapter Excellence in Academics, Leadership and Campus Involvement, Philanthropic Events, Chapter Development and Programming, Membership Recruitment and Philanthropic Program of the Year!
Another very important aspect of our sisterhood is our close interaction with other sororities and fraternities through mixers, socials, grab-a-dates, and community service throughout the academic year.
Chi Omega creates a unique bond that is always there for Sisters throughout their lives. Through ups and downs, highs and low, your Chi O Sister is always there. From college days to life in the real world the Chi Omega sisterhood is always in your heart. Every Sister is unique and prides herself by the founding philosophy and purposes of Chi Omega established by our founders over 100 years ago. We focus on the personal growth of our members through our six purposes, Community Service, Campus Activities, Career Development, Scholarship, Friendship and High Standards. We have always stressed the intrinsic worth of each Sister. Our Fraternity continues the tradition today by providing members with programming aimed at the personal development of every member. Chi Omega truly remains a timeless choice.
"Chi Os were ideal partners for all occasions. They were discreet, desirable, tactful, polite, and fun. Every mom dreamed of her son coming home with a Chi Omega."
